The Classic Science Fiction Archive is maintained by a catalogue workflow, UKOVU Catalogue. If you have a comment, a correction, or a question about anything you see on the site, the best way to reach us is by email. We welcome messages from readers, researchers, and rights holders alike.
What to Report
We rely on attentive readers to help keep the catalogue accurate and functional. Here are some of the things you might write to us about:
- Metadata corrections — a wrong author name, a misspelled title, an incorrect publication date, or a book placed in a category that doesn’t quite fit (such as a story in “Machines Invention” that belongs under “Time, Technology & Tomorrow”).
- File or format issues — an ebook that won’t open, garbled text, missing illustrations, or a file that fails on a particular device or reading app.
- Accessibility problems — poor contrast, missing alt text on cover images, or screen-reader incompatibility.
- Copyright or rights concerns — if you believe a title on the site is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights to a work and wish to discuss its status.
- Privacy questions — inquiries about how we handle personal data (the site does not collect user accounts or tracking, but we are happy to clarify).
- General editorial observations — suggestions for new categories, thoughts on reading notes or companion guides, or just a note about a story you enjoyed.
If you have encountered a problem with a specific ebook, please include the title and the format (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, or others). For instance, if you noticed a formatting glitch in Shannach—The Last or a missing illustration in The Dancers, letting us know exactly where the issue appears helps us correct it faster.

- The exact page URL where you found the issue.
- The ebook title and, if known, the file format (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, etc.).
- A brief description of the problem — what you expected and what happened instead.
- If the issue relates to a specific device or browser, please mention that as well.
- For copyright concerns, any supporting information about the work’s rights status in your country.
We read every message and do our best to investigate, though we cannot guarantee a personal reply in every case. Please note that we do not have a phone number, a physical address, or a contact form — email is our only channel.
When reporting a metadata error, it helps to mention the category where the book currently appears. For example, if Lord of a Thousand Suns seems misplaced, or if Queen of the Martian Catacombs has an incorrect author listing, a quick note with the details allows us to verify and update the record.
